Train trip to Prague

Oh what a fun morning! We packed up for our last morning in Vienna to head to Prague. Now getting 13 people to our meeting place was not hard, the hard part was getting us on the train. We managed to find out platform get on a train to catch our actual train with a half hour to spare. I say that’s skills seeing as how we had 13 people. Well anyways, that was the easy part, we were on the train for a good 4 hours (my first real train ride across country Smile, Connecticut to New York does not count). I was hoping to get my passport stamped but no such luck.Arrival in the train station was pretty nice compared to Vienna’s, it was pretty upscale, even had signs in English and German, handy for us lost tourists. Got our tickets stamped, nicer metro as well, and headed towards our hostel. Now, from descriptions, I was still not expecting this, but when I walked in, it was a big apartment, there are 7 beds in ours, a whole kitchen set up (almost, minus the oven), 2 bathrooms, a tv and dvd player, and awesomeness. Only downfall… wish we could have stayed here longer! I know from here on out, hostels will not be the same, I’m living the dream SmileDSCN3247Our kitchen set upDSCN3248Stairs to upstairs, going both waysDSCN3249My bedroom Smile how cuteDSCN3250Our couch areaWe all headed to the local market called a Billa, for some snacks and things, (wayyyy cheap!!!). It was amazing I only spent about $5 US dollars when I spent about 92 in Czech, awesome is all I can say. Headed out to dinner and it was pretty amazing. I’m glad we got to go to a sit down restaurant our first night in Prague. Ran in the rain again, less drenched, but still all the more fun. Should be fun!
