About — Rica

Rica is a travel coach that specializes in helping first-time millennial travelers use travel hacking to explore the world on a budget.

Through the loss of her mother back in 2014, Rica decided she wanted to travel to somewhere new each year so that her mom could experience the world through “her eyes”. She thought always of living each day to the fullest and exploring the world. In 2016, Rica took a trip through the TN Experiences to Bali, which changed her view on Black people traveling across the world. Then in 2018, she thought to herself there had to be an easier way to travel, she found traveling hacking and hasn’t looked back. In 2022, she decided to take a 15-day trip to visit the last 4 Wonders of the World on her list all by travel hacking. A trip like that could have easily been $15,000, and I spent under $3,000!

I hope to help all you first-time newbie millennial travelers to dig deeper, travel with intention, and travel on a budget. I want to work with you and show you that you can travel on a budget, and travel is possible.
