Zumba: my love/hate relationship

I’ve been on and off with Zumba for the past 3 years. I started out using it on the wii and then when I had a gym membership I moved to doing Zumba in a group setting. I loved Zumba because it got my energy up and my legs moving. It was my kind of workout where I didn’t have to do reps or show out to see what I could lift. I could just dance for an hour and get a great workout. As long as I pushed myself.

Now that I’m in a new territory for Zumba the songs have changed(for the better) and I’m sweating and working out a lot better. I can feel the burn!! Zumba has me in a love to get fit and stay fit. I love Zumba. I do need to find a way that I can work out my arms more but I think that comes with taking Zumba toning classes.

I like opening myself up to trying new things and taking different classes around the city is a great start. I pick up quickly and I think it will help me open up a bit more.

I think eventually I would like to become a Zumba instructor. I love the instructors that talk to you that get you excited that get you out of your element. The ones that tell you to make it your own and get into it. I want to be that kind of instructor. In dew time. My goal by the end of the year is to become a Zumba instructor.
